I am a self taught mixed media artist and instructor living in Virginia with my Husband and our family of fur babies. I love all things vintage and strive to use those discarded bits of artistic flotsam and jetsum in my creations. I also love finding those treasures that others can use to feather their souls and their nests so please check out my Etsy Shop as well. Thank you for stopping by.

It seems that this summer has flown by as I have been caught up in destashing, creating and worrying myself into a frenzy over a surgery that I had on August 6th. Something I have learned through all of this is....
We will be heading to CREATE Mixed Media Art Retreats soon where I will be teaching and vending and we are so looking forward to visiting an area that we have never been to. I will also be able to see some of my favorite people in the world and it will be good to connect with them as well. <smile>
Also, I am preparing for the Emmys with the Ice Queen!!!! Be on the lookout for FaceBook posts, Instagram images and more as we take this journey to the Emmys!!! Also be sure to check out the ICE Resin Blog at: http://iceresin.com/icequeen/

September will have us visiting Petaluma, California for Art Is You and then the last round of traveling for teaching will be in October in Stamford, Connecticut for AIY. What a lovely way to round off the year!!!!
So many new and exciting things going on and I can't wait to let you all in on them as the time becomes right to do so!!!
Thank you all for your prayers, emails and calls before and after my surgery. They are all so appreciated and make me more grateful for those that are in my life.
Yes, I am still at it...destashing the studio and stashes and listing them on Etsy. Between creating for fun, for gifts and for proposals it feels good to get some items listed on Etsy in my continued efforts to clean out stashes that I seem to have accumulated.
This weekend finds over 40 new items in the shop, here are just a few.....
