Hi Everyone,
I hope your Saturday has started off beautifully and that you have a creative weekend ahead of you.
We have been working on several video classes and as they are edited they are being placed onto our NING Group. The first of them, a free ATC tutorial, went live this past week and the next few days will see others getting published as well.
The Keeper of Secrets and Dreams has been a class that I have taught at several retreat venues, coast to coast and North to South. I love creating with tins.....love, love, love it.....and I am so excited to be bringing this class to our online venue.
Here is the Class Description:
Metal tins, those holders of mysteries and keepers of secrets and dreams, seem to draw me in. Then comes the excitement of opening the little lid. Will there be a treasure, a love note or a small booklet tucked inside?
We will be creating our own little keeper of secrets and dreams in this class by altering and aging a tin with vintage images or tin types, ephemera, mica and findings. Then we will create the perfect little secret and dream journal with pages of paper, fabric, decorative stitching and lace to be tucked inside. Don’t sew? Don’t worry! We are not going to be concerned with finished edges but rather the use of beautiful stitches to enhance our page.
Here are the particulars of the class:
Cost: $70.00 - includes your tin, book board for your covers, fabric pieces, mica, lace, vintage papers and more. Shipping is also included. This kit won't disappoint. If you signup before Tuesday, July26th you will receive a discount of $10.00. Normal registration will begin in late August.
Kits will be mailed within two weeks after payment is received.
Class Begins: September 1st and is open ended so no end date to worry about.
Pre-Registration begins today and runs throgh Tuesday, July 26th. By pre-registering you will receive $10.00 off of the class making the class cost $60.00 kit included.
Hope to see you there!!
