Hi Everyone,

Creations...

While I was in Danbury teaching at Art Is You I took a class with Pam Carriker on how to paint faces.  My goal was to be able to paint very iconic looking portraits.....

I am still working with her....some touch-ups here and there, a bit of darker shading and have to work with that "hair" but basically I love how she is coming out.  If you ever have the opportunity to take a class with Pam you should definitely do it.  What an amazing teacher, woman, artist and a new friend.  Stay tuned as I will be sharing some other information about Ms. Pam soon.  <smile>

An Artful Gathering....

What happens when you put together two ambitious retreat planners, 6 weeks, 17 teachers and a gazillion internet connections????  A totally awesome online retreat that's what!!!

It's coming soon and I know you won't want to miss out on this spectacular inaugural online event!!!  I am totally stoked to be a part of Gail and Zinnia's dream retreat and I know you will be too when you read all about it.

I will be teaching a class on taking those bits and pieces you have collected over the years, you know that special stash of collectible goodness I am talking about, and creating a wonderful, one of a kind, mixed media neckalce with it.
