What's Up and Upcoming Events......

Hello Everyone!!

First off I would like to ask for prayers for our family. Tom's mother has taken a turn for the worse and at this point we don't know what may be around the corner for us. Most especially please pray for peace for Tom and his mother.

Being published.....

Good Morning Everyone!

Last night as I was doing a bit of updating on our computer and dealing with tax stuff I received an email from Beth at Sew Somerset.

This gem of an email that brightened up a dreary evening was sent to tell me that two pieces that I submitted to them are going to be published!!! <smile> I have to say I am feeling very excited and very blessed.

Some of the same techniques that were used in these pieces will be taught at Art & Soul in Hampton, Artiscape in Ohio, Lisa's in California, KCs in Colorado and in my classes at Art-Is-You in Connecticut!!!! Hope you will check out the classes and join us!!

Art-Is-You - Registration is Open......

Good Morning Everyone!

I hope this post finds everyone doing well and feeling good this morning. <smile>

I wanted to let you in on some news.....Art-Is-You - The East Coast Retreat is now open for Registration!!!!! Woohoo!!!!!

I love using stitching in my collages and art pieces and I know you will too. I will have three sewing machines available for everyone to use so no need to haul your own. Also, if you don't sew...don't worry. We are going to be using the machines for decorative stitching to enhance our collages and are not going to be concerned with perfect seamstress abilities.

These promise to be fun classes with lots of giggles, fun and creative energy filling our minds and I think if I can work it out just right Mr. Lesley will provide us with a few goodies to get us through the day too. <smile>

News From The Studio...

Hi Everyone!!!

I thought I would post this morning about some news from my studio......

First off I am getting geared up to vend in New Jersey at Art Opera and in Columbus, Ohio at Artiscape - both of these are held in April so have some time yet but you know how time flies!!!! (The links to these sites are in the bar under my banner).

Speaking of Artiscape I found out yesterday that one of my classes has filled up (can you say woohoo!) so I am very excited about that!!!! If you live anywhere near Columbus or you are able to travel you should check out the awesome classes and events that Lisa has lined up.....www.artiscape.com.

Closely following will be Art & Soul in Hampton, Virginia where I will be teaching the Inside the Vintage Album Class. So come and join us in Hampton where Glenny and the gang have another great event planned.

Our NING group, The Art of Altering, is open for business too. We currently have a free "Vintage Image Group" where you can download free images to use in your artwork and soon I will be offering two courses: The Fluid Chalk Transformation - The Basics and More and Vintage Affirmation Pendant.
